abstract

  • A doubling of the dose-intensity in the treatment of bulky ovarian epithelial cancers led to no discernible improvement in patient outcome and was associated with more severe toxicity. This study provides no evidence to support the hypothesis that modest increases in dose-intensity without increasing total dose are associated with significant improvement in overall survival or PFS.
