  • Serial IVUS analysis after intervention and at follow-up showed that late recoil of the Palmaz-Schatz stent rarely occurred, and when it did occur, late stent recoil was minimal. The dominant mechanism of late lumen loss in this setting was neointimal hyperplasia. © 1995 Excerpta Medica, Inc.
