abstract

  • Tumor-specific monoclonal antibodies offer the potential for improved diagnosis of and therapy for malignant neoplasms. We have used iodine 131- and iodine 123-radiolabeled murine monoclonal immunoglobulin and Fab fragments against p97, a 97,000 molecular weight, melanoma-associated antigen on the cell surface, to image metastatic tumor deposits in patients with malignant melanoma.
