Obstruction of vertebral artery in a 43-year-old man

A 43-yr old man was admitted to the hospital with a one-day history of lethargy, severe headache, and difficulties in gait. Physical examination demonstrated midbrain and tectum dysfunction. An arteriovenous malformation in the region of the tectum and quadrigeminal plate was identified on a computed tomographic study.
