abstract

  • A patient is presented with hypercalcemia and concomitant renal-cell carcinoma and parathyroid adenoma. Hypercalcemia which persisted following removal of the renal carcinoma, however, promptly responded to parathyroidectomy. Differential points between primary hyperparathyroidism and ectopic or pseudohyperparathyroidism are discussed. © 1973.
