Matthew S. Simon   Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine

Dr. Simon's research applies decision analytic methods and economic analysis to the field of clinical infectious diseases. He is interested in evaluating the clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of novel preventive and diagnostic interventions to combat emerging infectious disease problems in the United States. He has collaborated with investigators at Weill Bugando Medical College in Tanzania, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York Blood Center and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
