I am an Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Economics in the Department of Healthcare Policy and Research at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University. My research primarily focuses on using experimental and empirical methods to examine the preferences, incentives and behavior of healthcare providers and consumers, especially in situations involving conflicts of interests between providers and patients. For instance, a major line of my research uses a cutting-edge method in experimental economics to measure altruism of US medical students and physicians, and examines its relationship with their career choice and other decision-making.
