Judy is the Assistant Director of Clinical Services for the Samuel J. Wood Library and also serves in the position of Librarian/Manager of the Myra Mahon Patient Resource Center, in addition to administrative duties and leadership, she provides information services, including expert literature searching, evidence-based medicine (EBM) teaching, techniques on navigating the world of publishing, and research skills workshops, to a range of health professionals and students in the WCMC and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital community. Judy works with a team of librarians to support a growing Clinical Medical Library program in the Department of Medicine. Judy co-teaches the EBM module of Medicine, Patients, and Society I (MPS I), part of the first year medical students’ curriculum, as well as clerkships in Neurology, Pediatrics, and Surgery.  Judy is involved in local and national medical library organizations and serves on a number of library and medical committees. In May 2019 Judy was awarded the Consumer Health Librarian of the year award. In May of 2015, Judy was awarded Senior Level credential into the Academy of Health Information Professionals. Judy was the 2017 Chair of the Consumer and Patient Health Information Section (CAPHIS) of the National Medical Library Association (MLA).
