Emilio M. Oribe, M.D., F.A.C.P., has practiced Neurology in New York City since 1992 after completing his Neurology residency and fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, N.Y. He is board-certified in two specialties: Neurology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Oribe’s strong clinical experience is complemented by laboratory and clinical research background and by special expertise in syncope and disorders of the autonomic nervous system.
Dr. Oribe served as Chief Resident in Neurology at Mount Sinai Hospital, N.Y. He was subsequently Chief of Neurology at two New York City hospitals, and President of the Spanish American Medical and Dental Society of New York. He received the Hispanic Health Leadership Award from the National Hispanic Medical Association, Washington D.C., and the Citation of Honor from the Queens Borough President, N.Y., for his work. His awards for teaching medical students and residents include the Excellence in Teaching Award from Weill-Cornell Medical College of Cornell University.
Dr. Oribe is fluent in Spanish and French and consults in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
