Davide Risso   Assistant Professor of Healthcare Policy and Research

My research focus is on the development, implementation and application of statistical models in high-throughput sequencing and other genomic data. Recently, my research has particularly focused on single-cell RNA-seq, especially applied to deciphering the complexity of the mammalian brain.

I am interested in the statistical modeling of high-dimensional data, parametric and non-parametric regression, clustering, factor analysis and dimensionality reduction, multiple hypothesis testing, combining data from multiple sources (meta-analysis), exploratory data analysis and data visualization, reproducible research.
