Center for the Study of Hepatitis C Translational Research Laboratory

Dr. Talal’s major research interests are the identification of biomarkers of histological progression of liver fibrosis and of a successful treatment response to treatment with pegylated interferon and ribavirin. He also is conducting studies to improve access to treatment for viral hepatitis among underserved populations.
