Aicha Hind Rifai   Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry

Dr. Rifai joined Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar (WCM-Q) in June of 2016.

She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology-in Psychiatry and in Geriatric Psychiatry. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Prior to joining WCM-Q, she served as a Clinician Teacher in a variety of academic and clinical settings.

Her areas of focus include: 1 Women mental health 3. Medical student mental health 3. The integration of the humanities in medicine.

  • Dr. Rifai is actively involved in teaching second year medical students in the Brain and Behavior Course and third year medical students during the Psychiatry Clerkship.  In addition to clinical teaching, Dr. Rifai's focus is on the training of students to acquire competency in the writing of clinical psychiatric cases.
